For those who are actively consulting the blog for updates, I thank you--it always pays to be informed. I want to wish you all a Happy New Year. If you reflected back on 2016 and weren't happy with some of your choices, well, you can start again, Just resolve to make better choices, leading to smarter decisions and wiser actions. Lucas: I told others in the class, in regard to the essay, forget about the thesis and write about 3 topic sentences that are connected in some way. Use evidence from the book (quotation) to add to your writing to prove your opinion. Try that and see if that works for you.
